Friendship Focus

Welcome to Squirrel and Bear's heart-warming adventure navigating friendship. This journey is based on the fabulous book I'm Sticking With You by Smriti Halls and illustrated by Steve Small. Squirrel and Bear are best friends who struggle to communicate their needs, finding that despite their love for one another they need space and to consider each other more in their relationship. Together they work to overcome their problems and build a stronger friendship.

This adventure, focusses on developing your little ones understanding of what is needed to build a healthy relationship. Knowledge from Positive Education is used to help your children learn about the importance of expressing their needs and feelings alongside considering others. As a family, you will also have the opportunity to complete activities which develop your child's reading, writing, maths, science, art and story telling skills through activities designed for in the home and out in nature. You wont need anything other than your adventure, pencils, scissors and items you can discover out in nature to complete all the activities and ideas. Oh and an egg (look out for that fun challenge)!
